Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the MenuMind app and website (together: "MenuMind"), offered by Atthis AI, based in the Netherlands ("we", "us"). By using MenuMind you accept these Terms. If you disagree, please do not use MenuMind.

2. The service

MenuMind is an AI-powered app for planning weekly meal plans, building shopping lists, and managing your pantry. Recipes, nutritional information and suggestions are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies. MenuMind is a tool and does not replace professional medical or dietary advice.

3. Account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You may not provide false information; accounts are personal and non-transferable.
  • We may suspend or delete accounts in case of misuse or violation of these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and payment

MenuMind offers a free plan and paid subscriptions (Starter and Pro) via:

  • Apple App Store (in-app) — payment and management through your Apple ID.
  • Web (Stripe) — payment by credit card or iDEAL.

4.1 Auto-renewal

All subscriptions are monthly and auto-renewing. Payment is charged to your account within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the applicable rate, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period.

4.2 Cancellation

  • App Store subscriptions — Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or via apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
  • Web subscriptions — through your account at menumind.nl (Stripe Customer Portal).

After cancellation you retain access until the end of the current period. No refunds are issued for the current period, except where required by law.

4.3 Credits

Unused monthly credits expire at the end of each month and cannot be converted to cash.

4.4 Free trial

Any free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

5. Right of withdrawal

Because MenuMind is available as a digital service immediately upon activation, you expressly waive your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once the subscription is activated and the first AI credits have been granted.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not offer or generate unlawful, offensive or harmful content.
  • Do not attempt to hack, overload or circumvent the service.
  • Do not use the service for commercial resale without our written permission.
  • Use generated recipes for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

7. Intellectual property

The MenuMind app, logo, source code, texts and design are owned by Atthis AI or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you input yourself.

8. Liability

MenuMind is provided "as is". We are not liable for:

  • Health damage resulting from following AI-generated suggestions.
  • Indirect damages, loss of profits or data loss.
  • Outages beyond our control (e.g. Apple, Stripe, Supabase, Anthropic).

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for MenuMind in the 12 months preceding the incident.

9. Privacy

Use of MenuMind is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We will announce significant changes (such as price increases) at least 30 days in advance. If you disagree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the app settings or by email. Upon termination your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

Dutch law applies. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
